This standard applies to liquid crystal televisions and organic light-emitting diode televisions (collectively referred to as flat panel televisions), as well as general-purpose set-top boxes (cable, terrestrial, satellite, and network) operating under AC220V, 50Hz power supply. It also covers display devices without tuners but marketed as TV products. This standard does not apply to direct broadcast satellite set-top boxes.
